Recognized worldwide for their experience and unique pedagogy, Gabriel and Natalia are the MASTERS of the masters of Argentine Tango. With more than 30 years of experience, they have trained generations of dancers and shared their passion with an authentic and precise style.
Together since 1991, they are part of this young generation that learned from the great Milongueros regarding the end of the 80s, these great names of Tango like Mingo Pugliese, Antonio Todaro, Miguel Balmaceda, Lampazo, Pepito Avellaneda, Raul Bravo and many others... They took the best of the tradition of Tango to create a unique, rich and complete pedagogical method.
At the end of 1991, they won the Buenos Aires contest 'Hugo del Hourly'. In 1992 they are called by the company Tango X2, of Miguel Angel Zotto and Milena Plebs, with whom they worked for 5 years. Since 1997, as a solo couple, they participate in major festivals around the world, from the United States to Japan... Creators, choreographers and dancers of "Plan B", an innovative show, the first to bring together on stage the dancers of Break dance and the dancers of Argentine Tango. The phenomenal success of 'Plan B' in France thrilled audiences between 2005 and 2008.
Currently, they specialize in teaching professionals and teachers around the world and each year are convened to be jurors of the final of the World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires and its seats in the world.
On pedagogy: Gabriel and Natalia are specialized in the recovery, coding and analysis of the repertoire of what is called "group of milongueros", who were the empirical creators, and which for Gabriel represent the bible of this dance that summons us all.
Gabriel and Natalia are, without any doubt, an inexhaustible source. We are sure that for those who have the responsibility to spread and transmit tango dance and its culture, studying with these masters is a superior step in acquiring solid bases of knowledge.
After 15 years without going through France, we are lucky to welcome you here in the South for a higher education dedicated to teachers and professional dancers.
MODALITIES
Two types of intensive residences are set up:
HIGHER EDUCATION from December 27 to 30, 2025.
MASTERCLASS from December 31, 2025 to January 3, 2026.
HIGHER EDUCATION
for INSTRUCTORS, TEACHERS, PROFESSORS and MASTERS.
Higher Education is a space dedicated to pedagogical training in the Argentine tango, designed for professors and teachers who seek to strengthen their knowledge and acquire new tools for the design of their courses.
Who is it for?
All persons who are professionally dedicated to the dissemination and teaching of tango dance in dance schools or associations on a regular basis and who have at least three years of demonstrable experience.
The pillars of the courses include the study of styles, the repertoire of creators (milongueros), choreographic work and improvisation, in addition to movement analysis, biomechanics and everything related to dance itself. We will also address the foundations of musicality, its history, its protagonists and everything with a historical approach to culture - tango.
MASTERCLASS for DANCERS.
The Masterclass consists of intensive courses in artistic and choreographic creation, with a particular emphasis on the practice of the proposals of the invited teachers. Gabriel and Natalia work with sequences of great complexity, both choreographically and musically. In the end, participants will have incorporated a wide range of resources applicable to both the design of classes and their projection on stage.
Unlike higher education courses, whose central aim is the pedagogical analysis specifically oriented towards teaching, the MASTER group has a more experimental and creative character. Members of this group also have the opportunity to attend higher education courses, although this option is not available in the opposite direction.
Location: Ecole Studio Dance 13, Village Décathlon Oxylane, Avenue des Chabauds – RN8 13320 Bouc Bel Air.
